Ethics
Good ethical conduct is a key
element in building and sustaining a climate of trust and goodwill,
which is essential for our business to flourish, and which is to
the benefit of all employees, customers, and stakeholders. This is
why Finmeccanica takes a zero tolerance approach towards
dishonesty, bribery and corruption in all parts of Finmeccanica's
business operations.
To this end, Finmeccanica operates within the
framework of "Principles of Business Ethics" and associated
“Business Ethics Guide" which set out the responsibilities of all
those who represent the Company and explain the business practices,
procedures and behaviours that need to be followed.
The Ethics Guide is founded on our Key
Principles of Integrity, Professionalism, Responsibility, Loyalty,
Fairness and Commitment. The Guide also takes into account the
provisions of the Bribery Act 2010, and the UK Government's
supplementary guidance on procedures relevant to commercial
organisations.
It is in the interests of all Employees, and
everyone providing services for or on behalf of the Company, to
abide by these principles and guidance in all their business
dealings. It must be clearly understood that unethical behaviour
will not be tolerated at any level. Practices that might involve
bribery or corruption are not and will not be accepted by
Finmeccanica under any circumstances.
