21 February 2012 – VEGA Space has been awarded one of four, fast-track Research and Development (R&D) grants, as part of the National Space Technology Programme (NSTP) ‘Space for Growth’ competition.

23 May 2011 – VEGA Space Ltd (VEGA), has signed a contract with the African Union Commission (AUC) for the provision of consultancy services to carry out a Feasibility Study on the creation of an African Space Agency.

13 December 2010 – VEGA staff have been involved in two commendations, one from the European Space Agency in recognition of their efforts and achievements with regard to the dual Herschel Planck mission, the other by Europlanet for the Mars VMC.

9 December 2010 – VEGA has been awarded a contract to provide supervisory consultancy for the procurement of one of Vietnam’s Earth observation satellites, namely Vietnam Natural Resource, Environment and Disaster Satellite.

6 December 2010 – VEGA has recently secured a significant role in ESA's strategic Climate Change Initiative (CCI) project to help build a detailed historical model of ocean colour and how it maybe linked to changes in the Earth’s climate.

8 November 2010 – A VEGA led consortium has recently been awarded the contract for the development and deployment of the Core Payload Data Ground Segment (PDGS) for the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Sentinel-3 satellites.

4 October 2010 – VEGA staff based at ESA’s European Space Operations Centre (ESOC), have played a key role in rectifying a fault on the Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer (GOCE) mission.
