Allan Cook was appointed Chairman of SELEX Galileo in February 2011. He is also Chairman of WS Atkins and Deputy Chairman of Marshalls Group. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, with 30 years of international experience in Aerospace and Defence industry.

Allan was CEO of Cobham plc and held executive positions at GEC-Marconi, BAE Systems and Hughes Aerospace. Allan is also Chairman of the UKTI Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing Group, the Skills and Jobs Retention industry-led group and Semta.
