Educational Partnerships

Finmeccanica in the UK partners with over 30 universities, including on PhDs and research projects, and invests heavily in school engagement and supporting Science, Maths, Technology and Engineering (STEM) curriculums.

Annually, the company’s educational outreach programme engages around several thousand school children and college students, to ensure the skills and knowledge which are vital to the UK are retained.

Some of the most renowned universities we are working with in the UK are Imperial College London, University of Bristol, University of Liverpool, University of York, and Cranfield University.

London's Imperial College Business School

Finmeccanica's partnership agreement with Imperial College Business School, one of the UK's most prestigious academic institutions, demonstrates the importance the company places on collaboration between the academic world and industry at international level. Since 2006, when the FHINK Masters Programme was launched, Finmeccanica and Imperial College Business School have worked together. During this time, FHINK has received more than 15,000 applications from 121 countries. This partnership represents an important part of Finmeccanica’s “Education System and HR Development” in the areas of Project Management and Management and Specialist Training from its UK base.
