Aerospace MSc Bursary Scheme

Finmeccanica and its companies in the UK are part of the group of leading UK employers sponsoring the Government Aerospace MSc Bursary Scheme, to help the UK stay ahead of its global competitors by developing the aerospace sector’s professional workforce.

Run by The Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Aeronautical Society, the scheme pays for 500 new graduates and employees to study Masters (MSc) level degrees in aerospace engineering. This will help the sector develop the high-level skills it needs to compete globally.

The scheme supports up-skilling of current aerospace employees already qualified to graduate level, and BSc students currently studying at university. These students are encouraged to make direct links with aerospace businesses to undertake projects to address the challenges faced by industry, and secure opportunities for work experience and future employment.

Funding for tuition fees was provided for up to 500 students undertaking MSc programmes at UK universities which are accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society, or supported by the leading companies.

Please note, the scheme is now closed.
