Cyber Security Forum 2011
29 September 2011 – BIS Conference
Centre, 1 Victoria Street, London, UK
The Cyber Security Forum 2011 explored a broad range of cyber
themes with a strong focus on business, the private sector and
partnerships with academia and government. The day was divided into
two sessions:
- Exploring cyber security's role in protecting the UK economy
from attack
- Positioning the UK as a cyber centre of excellence
The conference convened approximately 150 senior decision makers
from industry, government, academia, and the media, employing a
high level and high quality talks-plus-discussion conference
format. Task-based stream sessions had expert facilitators who gave
feedback in the plenary sessions.
Finmeccanica Cyber Solutions was represented by Finmeccanica
UK's Chairman, Sir Kevin Tebbit, and Oscar O'Connor,
who contributed to the debate on UK cyber security policy and
the best way of meeting the technological demands it generates.
