RUSI Cyber Security Lectures
Finmeccanica sponsored the Royal United
Services Institute’s (RUSI) lecture series on Cyber Security.
The UK’s National Security Strategy of 2010
has raised the threat of Cyber attack as a tier one security
threat. Ensuring that best practice and appropriate Cyber Security
policies are installed across an increasingly interconnected
private and public sector is therefore of vital strategic
importance.
To profile the major challenges associated
with a consolidated UK approach to Cyber Security, and to encourage
debate as how these challenges can best be met, the Royal United
Services Institute’s (RUSI) in association with Finmeccanica,
presented a series of exclusive lectures dedicated the topic.
The lectures highlighted issues as diverse
as:
- Cyber Priorities After SDSR 2010
- Are National Laws and Regulations Fit for Purpose
- International Alliance and Partnerships
- Ecrimes and Fraud
- The Role of the Military
- Building a Better Government/Industry Partnership
- An International Legal Framework
