London Conference on Cyberspace
1-2 November 2011 – Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre,
London, UK
The London Conference on Cyberspace was hosted by the Secretary
of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs, William Hague MP,
and was designed to launch a more focused and inclusive dialogue
between key cyberspace stakeholders around the world including from
government, industry and civil society. This was part of the aim to
develop a better collective understanding of how to protect and
preserve the far-reaching opportunities that cyberspace development
offers everyone.
The intention is that the ideas and proposals which emerged from
the conference will develop into the 'London Agenda'
– a plan to help us realise the full potential of
cyberspace. The conference focused on five themes:
- Economic growth and development
- Social benefits
- Cyber crime
- Safe and reliable access
- International security
As one of the world's leading cyber security partners, Finmeccanica
Cyber Solutions was selected as an exhibitor at the London
