Finmeccanica announces management changes at SELEX Galileo
Rome, 22 November - Finmeccanica announces that Steve Mogford,
CEO of the Group’s SELEX Galileo business, will leave the Group at
the end of this year to take up the role of CEO of United Utilities
PLC.
Chairman and CEO of Finmeccanica Pier Francesco Guarguaglini
said, “Since joining Finmeccanica in 2007, Steve has successfully
driven the development of SELEX Galileo, into one of the leading
international companies within the Finmeccanica Group. While we are
sorry he will be leaving the Group, we wish him every success in
his new role. We have a very talented senior management team at
SELEX Galileo and I have every confidence that the company will
continue to go from strength to strength.”
Finmeccanica is pleased to announce that Fabrizio Giulianini,
currently Deputy CEO of SELEX Galileo and CEO and General Manager
of SELEX Galileo SpA, will take over as the new CEO of SELEX
Galileo with effect from January 1st 2011.
Norman Bone, presently UK Chief Business Officer and Group
Operations Director, will be appointed Managing Director of SELEX
Galileo Ltd, and will report to Mr Giulianini,
Sir Kevin Tebbit, Chairman of Finmeccanica UK, said “The past
three years have seen SELEX Galileo develop into a well-integrated
company with a market-leading presence. We are delighted that
Fabrizio will be taking over the leadership of this business and
will continue to build on these solid foundations. The UK
operations are a key component of our corporate strength and with
Fabrizio and Norman in their new roles we can be assured that the
